Steps To Request Garfield High School

Step 1:

Enroll in Seattle Public Schools

• Your student must be enrolled through the Seattle Public Schools Enrollment webpage on the SPS website.

Step 2:

Submit a School Choice Request

• January 5-31, 2026
• Submit through the Source (SPS family portal)
• Select Garfield High School

Step 3:

Check Results

• Starting February 24, 2026 view placement on the waitlist status online.

Do You Need to Submit A Request?

Families who live outside Garfield’s attendance area must submit a School Choice request to select Garfield High School. Submitting a request does not guarantee placement.
