Garfield Teen Health Center

Staffed by Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic

The Garfield Teen Health Center (THC) is a safe, confidential place where students from Garfield High School and Seattle Public Schools can receive medical, nutritional services and mental health care. The Teen Health Center promotes how to live healthier lifestyles through education and counseling.

Our goal is to provide quality care that is accessible and convenient for students and their families. Students do not have to change their primary care provider to use school-based health services. Interpretation is always available.

Schedule an Appointment

Students can schedule appointments in person at the THC or by calling us at 206-860-0480. Students can visit the THC anytime to make an appointment and may be seen promptly if a provider is available.

Services at the Teen Health Center

Students must be enrolled and have a scheduled appointment before receiving services.

  • Evaluation and treatment of common health concerns (rash, allergies, colds) or chronic concerns (asthma, eczema, ADHD)
  • Immunizations
  • Well Child (Annual) Exams

Under state law, minors may consent for themselves in certain cases where confidential services are provided including reproductive health and emotional/mental health services.
