- Nov 20-22: GHS Theater presents “Almost, Maine”
- The Garfield Theatre Department invites you to this year’s fall play, Almost, Maine. Performances will take place on November 14, 15, 20 (Pay What You Will), 21, and 22 at 7 p.m., with an additional matinee on November 22 at 2 p.m. Purchase Tickets.
- Nov 27-28: No School – Thanksgiving & Native American Heritage Day
- Dec 1: Deadline for Senior Ads in Yearbook
- Dec 4: GHS Open House for prospective students and families (and Jan. 15)
- Dec 9: Parent Teacher conferences (No School For Students)
- Dec 11: Winter Band & Orchestra Concert – 6:30 p.m.
- Dec 22 – Jan 2: Winter Break – No School
- Jan 15, 2026: Open House for prospective students/families (and Dec. 4)
- Jan 18: Winter Waltz Garfield Band and Orchestra fundraiser
Cheer Team Places 3rd
Garfield High School’s Cheer Team had an outstanding performance at their competition placing 3rd in the stomp category and earning enough points to qualify for the State Cheer Championships. The team is excited to continue refining their routine and representing Garfield at the highest level. Congratulations to our athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication!

Join the Garfield HS PTSA
Members need to join or renew their membership in the Garfield PTSA each year. We make it easy to join. Visit the GHS PTSA website and make sure that the top box is checked and any other appropriate boxes and select submit!
No PTSA “dues” or other financial barriers to PTSA membership exist at Garfield. Instead of collecting membership dues, we ask for contributions to our Annual Fund from families who are financially able.
PTSA funds are used to support school activities, clubs and so much more.
