4th Meeting on Feb 14
On February 14 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. in the Garfield High School Commons, there will be the 4th installment of the Reclaiming the Village series. This powerful and important series addresses Black Student Achievement & Family Engagement at Garfield HS. Garfield HS warmly invites parents, caregivers, and community members to join us for Part 4 of Reclaiming the Village continuing the momentum from our January Meeting, this event remains dedicated to centering Black families, students, and the community-based organizations that support them. Our goal is to deepen relationships, connect families to meaningful resources, and gather your essential input.
We want to hear from you on how you can join us to improve, specifically regarding how we support our students and partner with our families. Please join us as we continue this broader commitment to building a stronger village at Garfield.
Garfield Band on King 5
Garfield band was nominated and voted “Best High School Band” as part of King 5’s Best of Western Washington series, voted on by viewers. Read All About It! This recognition speaks to the efforts of students across all of our ensembles, including concert, jazz, drumline and athletic band. Congrats everyone!
