Welcome 9th Graders, New Students & Families Orientation

We’re excited to welcome our newest Bulldogs to Garfield! We will have a Freshman and New Student Orientation on Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. This evening is designed to help students and families feel more confident, informed, connected and ready for a strong start to the school year. The first day of school is on Sept 3, 2025.

Students and families will have the chance to:

• Meet Garfield’s administrative team and key support staff.
• Learn about academic programs, student services, and extracurricular opportunities.
• Tour the building with current students serving as guides.

Whether you’re joining Garfield from a feeder middle school or transferring in from elsewhere, this event is a great way to get to know the school community. No registration is required. We look forward to seeing you there.
