Garfield High School Principal Spotlight: Dr. Hart

Garfield High School continues to be recognized for providing students with opportunities to excel, earning a place among the top 20 high schools in Washington in this year’s U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools rankings.

This recognition reflects the strength of Garfield’s academic programs and the dedication of its students, educators, and families. Under Principal Tarance Hart’s leadership, Garfield fosters an environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, pursue their goals, and achieve at a high level.

“Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report is something our entire Garfield community can be proud of,” Principal Hart shared. “It reflects the strength of our AP program and the hard work of our students and teachers. We are proud of the opportunities our students have to challenge themselves and succeed at a high level.”

This National Principals Month, we celebrate Principal Hart and the entire Garfield High School community for their commitment to academic excellence and for helping students reach their full potential.
