Seattle Channel’s SPS High School Film Showcase: Garfield Students
Summary : Congratulations Garfield Students.
Seattle Public Schools High School Film Showcase hosted by Garfield students
Nov. 25, 2025: Welcome to the first “Seattle Public Schools High School Film Showcase,” highlighting Seattle’s next generation of creative filmmakers. The program was filmed at GHS with Garfield students serving as hosts, and showcases student films from Garfield and other Seattle public schools. The first few minutes contain a nice tribute to Garfield History.
This Seattle Public Schools High School Film Showcase highlights student works from Garfield, Ballard, and The Center School. Projects cover a wide creative range, including comedy, drama, documentary, music videos, and more. We go behind the camera to meet the storytellers themselves, hear what inspires them, and see how their instructors guide the next generation of visual artists. Learn more on the SPS CTE Virtual Showcase site.
This Seattle Channel video features films from many Seattle schools. At 29:48 you can see Mr. Pugh and Garfield students talking about the program.
