There are many ways to volunteer with Garfield, either through the PTSA or within the school. PTSA requests tend to be one-time, event related commitments. The opportunities within the school are typically more long-term, once/week opportunities, but occasionally a staff member will have a short term, project-related request. Please see below for current opportunities.

    PTSA Secretary

This person would be responsible for recording meeting notes, reserving meeting rooms, managing drop-box files, etc.  Meetings are held monthly but most duties can be managed from the comfort of home.  It's a terrific way to be involved and be in the know.  Please contact us via the link below if you are interested in learning more. Thank you in advance for your consideration!

    PTSA Gala Co-Chairs

The PTSA is seeking one or more individuals to serve as Gala Chairs. These individuals would be responsible for coordinating the annual spring Gala, which is the PTSA's single largest fundraising event.  If you enjoy a party, and planning one, we need you!  Volunteers are on hand to help, awaiting your command!

For both of these positions email garfieldhsptsa@gmail.com
