    Add Your Voice

Do you want to help make a difference in the future of Seattle Public Schools? Add your voice to the discussion by sharing your priorities and ideas with us.

As new opportunities to inform district decisions arise, we will be inviting you to participate and listing a summary on this page.

Seattle Public Schools and the Board of Directors believe community engagement and two-way communication are essential to improving district decisions and outcomes for students.

Proposed Partnership with TAF and Seattle Public Schools

The district is exploring a proposed partnership with the Technology Access Foundation (TAF)  to support several elementary schools including Thurgood Marshall, Baily Gatzert, John Muir, Leschi, and Madrona.

Seattle Public School has the exciting, potential opportunity to partner with TAF to implement the STEMbyTAF educational model to contribute to our strategic plan priority to “support students of color who are furthest from educational justice.”

In May 2019, Seattle Public Schools and TAF entered into an agreement to explore the possibility of having TAF at Washington Middle School. No decisions have been made, except to be in discussion with each other. Visit the district news announcement to learn more.
