1. Take the James St Exit
2. Turn left onto James St and proceed up the hill (east)
3. Continue east on James St
4. At 12th Ave, James St becomes E Cherry St
5. Continue east on E Cherry St to 23rd Ave
6. Turn right onto 23rd Ave, head south for one block
7. Garfield High School’s main campus entrance is on the left at the first stoplight, E Jefferson St

From the Southend taking I-5 North:

1. Take the James St exit
2. Turn right onto James St. and proceed up the hill (east)
3. Continue east on James St, At 12th Avenue, James St becomes E Cherry Street
4. Continue east on E Cherry St to 23rd Avenue
5. Turn right onto 23rd Avenue, head south for one block

From the Eastside Taking I-90 West

1. Take the Rainier Ave Exit, heading NORTH
2. Continue north on Rainier Ave to Jackson St. 
3. At the stoplight, veer right onto 14th Ave
4. Continue north to E Jefferson St
5. Turn right onto E Jefferson and continue east to 23rd Ave
6. Garfield High School’s main campus entrance is at 23rd Ave and E Jefferson St

From the Eastside Taking 520 West

1. Take the Lake Washington Blvd Exit
2. Turn left onto Lake Washington Blvd E
3. Travel south through the Arboretum to E Madison St
4. Turn right onto E Madison St and proceed west up the hill
5. Turn left onto 23rd Ave
6. Continue south to E Jefferson St
7. Garfield High School’s main campus entrance is at 23rd Ave and E Jefferson St

Parking

Parking is available in the main campus lot at 23rd Ave and E Jefferson St.

There is additional on street parking on E Alder St, south of Garfield and on 25th Ave, east of Garfield adjacent to the athletic field. 25th Ave is accessible via E Alder St, south of Garfield and E Cherry St, north of Garfield.
