Garfield's Staff and Students
The Garfield Staff and PTSA urge you to volunteer to work with our students, faculty and administrators so that Garfield High School is a place where every student thrives. We welcome and encourage the involvement of all parents and guardians, as well as members of the community. To learn more about volunteer opportunities at Garfield, please contact Martha Layzer at 252-2400 or email@example.com. I am at school Monday - Thursday and my office is located in the PTSA Community Room (100A) just off the Commons so please stop by and introduce yourself!

All volunteers who work directly with students must complete the following paperwork and watch the online adult sexual misconduct video prior to volunteering. Examples of volunteers that work directly with students include helping in a classroom, working with small groups, volunteering in the library, and chaperones. Completed forms can be returned to the main office to the attention of Martha Layzer, or emailed directly to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: All forms must be completed annually (school year), but the video only needs to be viewed once.
Additional information including the Volunteer Handbook, general information about volunteering, and the forms in other languages can be found on the Volunteer Page of the Seattle Public Schools website.
