    AP Exams - May 7th - 18th

    • AP Exam Registration for 2018 exams is now closed.  
    • Anyone can register for an AP exam, regardless of age, grade, or course enrollment.

    • Garfield is not offering late or make up AP exams for students who miss an AP exam for any reason.
    • Any exams that were not paid for by March 2nd have been cancelled.

    State Testing

    • All students must take and pass state exams in math and language arts to be eligible for graduation.
    • Students will first attempt state exams in 10th grade, testing within their language arts and math classes.  Testing dates are determined by classroom teachers, and make up tests will not be given if students are absent on the scheduled testing dates. 
    • Any student in 11th or 12th grade who has not met the state testing requirements will be given the opportunity to test again in April of 2018. Students who miss that scheduled opportunity will need to wait until November to take a make up exam.

    School Day SAT - March 7th

    • The SAT was offered to all 11th graders on Wednesday, March 7th.  Student who were not absent will not have the opportunity to test through the school - they will need to register to test on their own. Students can set up accounts and register for the SAT on the College Board website.
    • Results from the March 7th SAT will be available in April.  Students should check their College Board account for scores. xxx will not be distributing scores.
